Catherine Tysoe

Financial Controller

Catherine studied Forensic Science at The University of the West of England and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant at a dynamic, paperless accountancy practice in Bristol.  After working in general accountancy practice, Catherine spent a number of years as Financial Controller at innovative start-up companies.

As Financial Controller, Catherine sought to add value to the finance function, build and manage stakeholder relations, develop business partnerships and support the successful business growth and commercialisation.  Catherine’s broad accounting and taxation knowledge from her time in practice translates well to the start-up environment.

As Financial Controller at the Rosalind Franklin Institute, Catherine has assumed responsibility and ownership of the finance function. Catherine works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and wider team as the Institute strategically prepares to scale.
