Dr Sadia Sheraz
Sadia is a postdoctoral research associate in secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS).
She has extensive experience in analysing bio-samples using secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), acquired through her PhD at the University of Manchester, followed by continued research in this field at the University of Manchester, Newcastle and Penn State. Her previous research focused on investigating the means of increasing secondary ion yields for bio-samples in ToF-SIMS on J105 3D Chemical Imager.
Her Franklin project will involve developing and exploring new approaches for quantitative 3D chemical imaging using SIMS with an ultimate goal to recognise and understand interaction system of molecules in health and disease.
