Dr Siva Ramadurai

Senior Staff Scientist

Siva is working as senior staff scientist in the structural biology theme, focusing on cell-free protein expression system for protein production, fluorescent microscopy, droplet-interface bilayer and cellular biophysics.

He completed B.Sc in Physics and M.Sc in Biophysics from University of Madras, India and Ph.D in Membrane Biophysics and Biochemistry from University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He worked as postdoctoral researcher in National University of Ireland Galway and Dublin City University, Ireland on projects to study interaction of biomolecules and drugs in the membrane and living cells. Before moving to the Franklin, Siva worked as postdoctoral research scientist at University of Oxford to establish cell-free protein expression system for protein production and droplet-interface bilayer.
