Dr Anna Simmonds

Postdoctoral Research Associate inĀ Ion Mobility and Mass Spectrometric Instrumentation

Anna studied chemistry at the University of Sheffield before moving to the University of Birmingham to work on a PhD in structural mass spectrometry. This PhD project combined mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry and molecular modelling to study the structural consequences of phosphorylation in proteins and peptides.

In the role of PDRA in Ion Mobility and Mass Spectrometric Instrumentation at the Franklin, Anna will be involved in the development of novel instrumentation and experimental workflows.
