Cameron graduated with an MSci in Microbiology from the University of Glasgow, having completed her placement year at the Institut Pasteur in Paris working in Molecular Parasitology, assisting in developing a highly specific diagnostic tool for Human African Trypanosomiasis. In her final year of University, Cameron developed a keen interest in artificial intelligence, informatics and imaging, and was fascinated by the themes the Franklin had to offer. She is excited to widen her knowledge and see where her project ultimately takes her.
