Dr Andrew Giltrap

Associate Investigator

Andrew is an Associate Investigator at the Rosalind Franklin Institute involved in developing novel methods for the site selective modification of proteins in order to probe function in biological systems.

Andrew hails from Australia where he completed his BSc (Hons) and PhD at the University of Sydney focusing on the total synthesis of bioactive peptide natural products. After continuing as a postdoctoral researcher in Sydney he moved to Oxford University where he worked with Professor Ben Davis where he began developing methods for protein modification.
