Dr Lan Na
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Lan’s research interest focuses on developing novel chemical biology tools to probe mechanistic questions in proteomics. As a team member of the Next Generation Chemistry Group, her research aims to harness controlled modification of proteins for the enrichment of sub-population of cellular proteomes, which will be employed to identify potential biomarkers for diseases. Before joining Rosalind Franklin Institute, Lan obtained her Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of California, Davis. Her doctoral research focused on understanding the structure and function of glycosyltransferases and harnessing the knowledge to engineer glycosyltransferases for synthesizing complex glycans.
