Postdoctoral Research Associate in Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry
Elena is Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mass Spectrometric Instrument Development. Elena achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Bologna, then moved to the Netherlands to study Biomarkers and Chemical Clinical Analysis at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. After that, Elena moved to the UK, where she’s been ever since, to pursue a PhD in Physical Chemistry at Durham University. The PhD project was part of the LightDyNamics Marie Curie European Training Network. Elena then joined the group of Prof. Mark Brouard at the University of Oxford, where she started her research in Mass Spectrometry Imaging.
