Dr Katy Cornish

Postdoctoral Scientist

Katy is a postdoctoral research scientist in Professor Ray Owens’ group at the Franklin, working as part of the Nanobody Project team.

She graduated with an MSci in Natural Sciences from Durham University in 2018, where she remained for her PhD in structural biology as part of the Horizon 2020-funded Virus-X Consortium. Her focus was the characterisation and structure determination of novel bacterial and viral enzymes identified through metagenomic exploration of extreme environments.
