Weibing received their Ph.D. in Chemical Biology at Peking University in July 2020 with Prof. Xing Chen. During their graduate training, Weibing focused on multidisciplinary approaches to examine the nature of cell-to-cell communication and how signaling networks affect gene expression. After completing his Ph.D., he was engaged in developing peptide and antibody drugs as an R&D scientist at Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. in Beijing. He is incredibly interested in developing chemical approaches, especially probing fundamental biology and interdisciplinary research.
