Dr Matthew Case

Electron Microscope Manager

Matthew Case graduated with a BSc in biological sciences from the University of Plymouth and an MSc in the study of stem cells and regenerative medicine at the University of Bristol. He then worked in Japan for one year before moving to Vienna, where he obtained his PhD from the Institute of Science and Technology, Austria (IST Austria), studying the development and function of asymmetries in the mouse hippocampus. After completing a postdoctoral research position, in the same group, Matthew moved back to the UK, to work in the University of Bath’s MC2 electron microscopy unit.

In September 2022 Matthew moved to the Franklin to work as an electron microscope manager.
