Dr Daniel Simon

Research Assistant

Daniel obtained a BSc in Molecular Biotics from Pazmany Peter Catholic University and a MSc in Pharmaceutical engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, both institutes located in Hungary. During his studies he worked at Waters first as an intern then later as a research scientist on the topic of ambient mass spectrometry fundamentals and instrumentation. In 2019 he started his PhD at Imperial College London focusing on single cell analysis using ambient mass spectrometry techniques.

His project involves development of atmospheric pressure ion sources for unique multi-modal MSI capabilities being established at the Franklin, which will hopefully help drive the next generation of molecular and structural biology research.
