Sever Dragomir

Sever recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During his degree Sever also worked for a year as a Ultrafast Laser Scientist Placement Student in the ULTRA group in the Central Laser Facility, working mainly on sample delivery systems for transient spectroscopy experiments. During his Masters project Sever focused on microscopy and instrumentation development, with a focus on light sheet fluorescence techniques used with optical trapping, working with the OCTOPUS group in the CLF and the Wright lab at Nottingham.

Sever’s research interest are in instrumentation development, especially in the use of correlated imaging techniques applied to biological research.
