Dr Becky Nadal

Strategic Projects Manager

Becky has 12+ years’ experience in the University sector providing professional support in the formation, design and delivery of strategic projects and major initiatives, with particular emphasis on research activities. She joined the Rosalind Franklin Institute as Strategic Projects Manager in September 2022, having previously worked at Imperial College London and the University of Reading. Becky is leading on the provision of a project management function at the Franklin to help ensure that our scientific and technical projects are translated into operational plans, implemented effectively and completed successfully in support of our strategic goals.

Before moving into project management Becky worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Queen Mary University of London utilising a range of spectroscopic techniques to study the structure, folding and redox properties of metallo-proteins associated with Alzheimer’s and Prion Diseases, a continuation of her PhD work on amyloidgenic proteins. She holds a BSc in Biology and Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London.
