Benjamin Gaunt is a PhD student on the Franklin studentship program.  He graduated (MSc, joint honours) from the University of Durham, focusing on NMR methods development for his masters. He then went on to work at the Franklin for two years as an NMR scientist, looking at novel ways to use NMR to probe structure and behaviour in protein systems.  He enjoyed it so much he decided to apply there for a PhD as well.
