About
Lizzie completed her PhD in Cell Biology at University of York followed by a postdoctoral position at University of Warwick. During this time, she has worked mainly in membrane trafficking, looking at GLUT4 trafficking (a key process which is disrupted in diabetes) and vesicle transport. She is currently working to understand molecular organisation at cell interfaces with Dr Karina Pombo Garcia.
